Safe squares can protect your tokens from being captured. Whenever possible, use these positions strategically instead of moving blindly toward the finish line.
3. Capture Opponent Tokens
Capturing an opponent can completely change the game. Look for opportunities to land on an opponent's token while making sure your own token does not become vulnerable.
4. Think About Your Next Move
Do not only consider the move you can make right now. Before moving a token, think about what positions you may be able to reach on your next turn.

The more you play, the better you become at recognising patterns and making smart decisions. Regular practice can significantly improve your tournament performance.
